SEEK at MEKAKUCITY was a video event held on the fifth Kagerou Project anniversary from August 7th to August 15th, 2016 featuring art by Mahiro Satou. It was hosted on the official Nicovideo stream created for the event and consisted of four parts. At the end of the stream, an announcement for Mekakucity Reload was made.[1]
The Mekakushi Dan members received an invitation to visit a mansion on August 15th and wear formal wear. Separated and put into groups in different rooms, they had to solve puzzles, assisted by the fans following the stream using Twitter, which was "taken over" by several characters during the event, temporarily turning the profile pictures black.
